The Hopi Kachina Kokopelli is a humpbacked traveler often depicted playing a flute. The hump or backback is said to contain seeds, babies, water and objects not generally available locally. Many Kokopelli figures have insect attributes, usally resembling a locust. In many representations he lies on his back or is shown dancing while he plays his flute. The Kokopelli name comes from the Hopi word (Koko menaing backpack, Pelli meaning wood). This flute is made of hardwood, has six holes and is thirteen inches long.DISCONTINUED
